Rabbi Chaim Cohen grew up in Los Angeles, California and Chicago, Illinois.
He attended the Hebrew Theological College in Skokie, Illinois where he received his Rabbinic ordination and a Master's Degree in Religious Education.
Rabbi Cohen was involved in Jewish Education in Chicago for many years before
moving back to Los Angeles.
He was the Rabbi of Young Israel of Century City from 1980-1983.
He tried to bring his congregation with him when he made Aliyah in the summer of 1983.
A few families followed.
Rabbi Cohen has also been teaching a Talmud class for the last nine years at the famous "Shtieblach" in Old Katamon, Jerusalem.
Rabbi Cohen lives in Jerusalem with his wife, children, & grandchildren.
